Dear Troop 476 Parents and Friends,

Your support for Friends of Scouting has been very generous and I'd like to thank you in advance for your continued support and contributions for the 2010 campaign. The link below will display the 2010 Friends of Scouting brochure that includes the donation form. If you do not already have a donation form, please download this brochure and complete the form (CLICK HERE). You can bring the form and contribution to any of the scout meetings; there will be a drop-off box.

Alternatively, you can mail to me at my home address as listed on the troop roster.

Most of you are familiar with Friends of Scouting and understand that this provides a significant percentage of the Santa Clara Council budget which directly supports local area scouting. More information will be provided at the February Court of Honor, and you can contact me anytime if you have questions.

Friends of Scouting is, of course, a voluntary program. It costs approximately $275 to support each scout on an annual basis and this is the target amount for this year's campaign. Any amount you can contribute is helpful, and even if you are not in a position to contribute this year, please complete the donation form indicating so; this will save volunteer time (mine) by limiting the continued amount of follow-up telephone calls I'll need to make.
